 A Statement of Purpose, otherwise known as an SOP is an essay that helps applicants in their journey of higher education. Whether you wish to study abroad in a University or enroll yourself in some fellowship program, an SOP is one of the most significant documents that will fast-track your career and take you to higher peaks. 

An SOP is the document that not only elaborates the academic background of an aspirant but also provides an insight to the committee about his/ her writing skills. It shows the University why he/ she would be a good fit for a particular institution.

Introduction:

My name is Aayush Sharma and I hail from Bangalore, India. In my quest to further my pool of knowledge and my career prospects, I hereby present my candidacy for Master’s in Business Management from University of Turin.

Educational background and interests:

Having completed my graduation in Bachelor of Commerce (CBCS) from Bangalore University, I am well acquainted in subjects of Financial Accounting, Indian Financial System, Marketing & Service Management, Corporate Administration, Indian Constitution and Human Rights, Banking Law & Operations, Business Regulations, Principles & Practice of Auditing, Income tax- II, Management Accounting. I secured a CGPA of 8.8. Apart from academics, I have been fairly active in travelling and reading. Having pursued commerce stream in my Senior Secondary School Examination, I secured 94%. In my Secondary School Examination, my score was 92.24%. With utmost dedication and hard work, I ensured that my academics and hobbies go hand in hand for me to have a well-rounded personality and intellectual growth. I am proficient in English with an overall IELTS score of 8.5

Career prospect:

The scope offered by Master’s in Business Management is immense. Ranging from startups to established businesses, the importance of Business management degree is far and wide and I wish to use this platform to up-skill myself in the job market. This course would offer a plethora of opportunities ranging from business operations manager, management analyst, market research analyst, top executive, HR manager and more.

It offers a diverse culture to explore an learn along with providing ample opportunities to students to learn and grow. The university is famous for traditional subjects such as history, philosophy, economics but it is also considered to have one of the best management schools.

Expectation from the Course:

A degree in Master’s of Business Management becomes crucial for any organization. It is not only an important part of someone who wants to learn management of business but also people’s skill. Therefore, through this course, I hope that I shall become acquainted with diverse parts such as business strategy and international law and hope to carve a niche for myself in this domain.
